Eligibility. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED. The Sweepstakes is open only to residents who reside in the zip codes 75165, 75167, 76065, 75154, 75119, 75120, & 75152 as allowed and not prohibited by state or local law, who are at least 21 years old. IF YOU DO NOT MEET ALL OF THESE REQUIREMENTS, OR ANY OTHER ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS IN THESE OFFICIAL RULES, YOU ARE NOT ELIGIBLE TO WIN A PRIZE, MAID ESSENTIALS RESERVES THE RIGHT, IN ITS SOLE DISCRETION, NOT TO AWARD PRIZES TO YOU. To be eligible to win a Prize, Entries must be completed and received by Maid Essentials in the manner and format designated in these Official Rules. Owners and Employees of Maid Essentials and/or those living in the same household of each, are not eligible to participate or win any prizes. By participating in the Sweepstakes, you agree that: (1) you have read and understand the Official Rules; (2) you meet the Sweepstakes eligibility requirements as explained in the Official Rules; (3) you are bound by the Official Rules and Conditions of Use, Legal Notices (4) you unconditionally accept and agree to comply with and abide by the Official Rules and the decisions of Maid Essentials; and (5) the Official Rules shall be legally binding on you and your legal representatives, heirs, successors, and assigns.

Entries. Entrants may enter two (2) times during the Entry Period via their personal Facebook account for a max of two (2) Entries per individual.

1. Via Facebook: Only one (1) combination of one (1) page like of the Maid Essentials page, one (1) like on the designated sweepstakes post, and (1) tag of a friend in the comments section of the designated sweepstakes post per individual Facebook account will be considered an eligible Entry on Facebook. You may receive one (1) additional Entry on Facebook by publicly sharing Maid Essentials sweepstakes post to your personal timeline. Additional comments, likes, or shares will be disqualified. Maximum Entries per Entrant on Facebook is two (2). Standard data and messaging rates apply.

 

Entry Period: All Entries must be received between during 12:00.00 p.m. CDT on Oct 25, 2023 –

11:59:59 p.m. CDT on Nov 31, 2023 (“Entry Period”).

 

How to Enter the Sweepstakes:1. Via Facebook: Maid Essentials will publish an online post on the Maid Essentials Facebook account and share upon the commencement of the Entry Period and throughout the Sweepstakes Entry Period. Entrants can enter the Sweepstakes via their personal Facebook account. To obtain an Entry via Facebook, each Entrant must be an authorized account holder of Facebook (Facebook membership is free, but is subject to acceptance of the Facebook Terms of Use) and must:

b. Like our sweepstakes post and tag a friend in the comments section of the Sweepstakes post shared by Maid Essentials

 

You will receive a total of one (1) Entry by completing actions a and b on Facebook. 

 You will also receive one (1) additional Entry on Facebook by:

c. Publicly sharing the Sweepstakes photo from Maid Essentials to your personal Facebook timeline

 

You can receive a maximum of two (2) Entries on Facebook by successfully completing actions a, b, and c.

 

Entrants may enter the Sweepstakes during the Entry Period by completing a maximum of (2) Entries via their personal Facebook per individual.

All Entries must be in English. Any attempt by an entrant to (i) create and use multiple email accounts to obtain additional Entries, or (ii) post duplicate or near duplicate posts, will void such entrant’s Entries and that entrant may be disqualified, and any potential Prize will be forfeited. Entries generated through a third-party website or software or in any way other than the manner and format set forth in these Official Rules is prohibited, and Maid Essentials reserve the right to disqualify any such entrant(s).

 All prize details will be determined by Maid Essentials in our discretion. The Winner must contact us regarding their preference in date & time to receive service, and color preference for prizes; however, there is no guarantee, and time and dates for service will be chosen by Maid Essentials based on availability; no guarantee is made for availability of the product or color at the time of winning. It is the sole responsibility of the Grand Prize Winner to schedule a possible cleaning date(s). Service dates on any requested date or time is not guaranteed. Any additional costs, surcharges, taxes, or fees incurred by the Grand Prize Winner outside the value of the gift card value will be the responsibility of the Winner.

 

 

Additional Prize information: Maid Essentials will not replace any lost, stolen, or defective prizes. In the event of a prize being defective, the prize winner will contact the maker of the prize for that matter. In the event of theft or loss of prizes from Maid Essentials, Maid Essetials shall have the right, in our discretion,  to award to that Prize Winner the remaining elements of the Prize which shall constitute full satisfaction of our prize obligation to the Prize Winner and no additional compensation will be awarded. The Prize Winner will be required to review and execute further releases provided by us to receive the Prize. Any difference between stated value of the products and final value of the Prize will not be awarded. The Prize consists only of the elements expressly set forth above, and no other elements or expenses. Tax consequences are the responsibility of the Prize Winner. The Prize Winner will be required to complete an IRS tax form W9 and will be issued a form 1099. There is no substitution for any Prize or any portion thereof and no refunds will be given for any unused portion of the Prize. The Prize is not transferable, assignable or redeemable for cash. All Prize details are at Maid Essentials sole discretion.

Release, Hold Harmless And Indemnification: BY ENTERING, ALL ENTRANTS IN THE SWEEPSTAKES, ENTRANT’S HEIRS, EXECUTORS, ADMINISTRATORS, LEGAL SUCCESSORS AND/OR ASSIGNS RELEASE AND AGREE TO DEFEND, INDEMNIFY AND HOLD HARMLESS MAID ESSENTIALS  FROM AND AGAINST ANY AND ALL CLAIMS, DEMANDS, LOSSES AND CAUSES OF ACTION FOR ANY DAMAGES (INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, ALL CONSEQUENTIAL, PUNITIVE, AND INCIDENTAL DAMAGES), LIABILITY, LOSS, COST, FEES (INCLUDING ATTORNEYS’ FEES), INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, DUE IN WHOLE OR IN PART, DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, BY REASON OF THE ACCEPTANCE, POSSESSION, REDEMPTION, MISDIRECTION, USE OR MISUSE OF ANY PRIZE OR ANY PORTION OF ANY PRIZE OR PARTICIPATION IN THE SWEEPSTAKES AND THE ACTIVITIES OR FOR ANY AND ALL CLAIMS BASED ON RIGHTS OF PUBLICITY AND RIGHTS OF PRIVACY WHETHER ANY OF THESE THINGS ARE CAUSED, IN WHOLE OR IN PART, BY THE ACTS, OMISSIONS, NEGLIGENCE OR MISCONDUCT OF MAID ESSENTIALS.

 

Other Sweepstakes Submission Requirements:  Any Entry, in the sole discretion of Maid Essentials and/or its Administrator, may be disqualified that contains material in the comments sections wherein the Entrant:

•Communicates messages or images inconsistent with the positive images and/or goodwill to which Maid Essentials wishes to associate. Examples include, babies or pets in unsafe situations, or Entries that promote bigotry or discrimination.

•Disparages any person, Maid Essentials, the Sweepstakes Entities or any such entity’s products.

•Violates or infringes upon the copyrights, trademarks, or privacy, property, publicity or other intellectual property rights of any person or entity not affiliated with this Sweepstakes;

•Promotes illicit use of alcohol, illegal drugs, tobacco, firearms/weapons (or the use of any of the foregoing);

Any Entry, in the sole opinion of Maid Essentials, that is considered inappropriate or not suitable for publication under the Official Rules, may be disqualified.

 Odds of Winning a Sweepstakes Prize. Odds of winning a Sweepstakes Prize depend on the number of eligible Sweepstakes Entries received during the Entry Period. Potential Sweepstakes Winners may be required to execute and return an Affidavit of Eligibility for verification purposes or Liability/Publicity Release within three (3) days. In the event of noncompliance with these Official Rules; if the potential Winner does not respond to Maid Essentials post/comment within forty-eight (48) hours; or a Sweepstakes Prize Winner declines Prize offered, the Sweepstakes Prize will be forfeited and Maid Essentials may select an alternate Winner by random drawing from among all remaining eligible Sweepstakes Entries received during the corresponding Entry Period. Sweepstakes Prizes will be delivered within 1 week from date of verification via electronically or personally delivery to the street/mailing address provided by a Winner via email.

Disclaimer. Maid Essentials, employees will not be responsible for: (a) any late, lost, misrouted, garbled or distorted or damaged Entries; (b) electronic, hardware, software, network, Internet, or other computer- or communications-related or technical malfunctions or failures; (c) any Sweepstakes disruptions, injuries, losses or damages caused by events beyond the control of Maid Essentials or by non-authorized human intervention; (d) damage caused by computer virus or otherwise resulting to any computer from entrant's participation in the Sweepstakes or access of the any websites related to the Sweepstakes, whether human, mechanical or electronic; (e) incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by Internet users or by any of the programming or equipment associated with or used in the Sweepstakes.

If the Sweepstakes becomes compromised, hampered, interrupted, not capable of running as planned, rendered impossible of performance in any way or prevented, including, without limitation, because of any kind of computer viruses, bugs, electronic, hardware, software, Internet, network, technical failures, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, an event of force majeure or any other cause created by Maid Essentials and/or the Sweepstakes Entities, the user or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Sweepstakes, Maid Essentials reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to change the Official Rules, to cancel, modify, suspend or withdraw the Sweepstakes or any Sweepstakes offer and/or cancel, modify, suspend or withdraw any method of Entry, without notice, and select Prize Winner from all Entries received for the Sweepstakes prior to or after the cancellation, modification, suspension or withdrawal. 

Maid Essentials control.ALL FEDERAL, STATE AND LOCAL TAXES ASSOCIATED WITH THE RECEIPT OR USE OF ANY PRIZES ARE THE SOLE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE WINNER. All Prizes will be awarded. Prize notifications not claimed per the methods described in these official rules within forty-eight (48) hours will be forfeited and will be awarded to an alternate Winner. Prizes are not transferable. No substitutions or exchanges (including for cash) of any Prizes will be permitted, except that Maid Essentials reserves the right to substitute a Prize of equal or greater value for any Prize. Limit one (1) Prize per person, household or address. All Prizes are awarded "AS IS" and WITHOUT EXPRESS OR IMPLIED WARRANTY OR CONDITION OF ANY KIND (including, without limitation, any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose). Maid Essentials is not responsible for loss, delay or damage in shipping any Prize or notification.

 

Identity of Entrant.  In the event of a dispute about the identity of an entrant, Entries will be declared made by the Authorized Account Holder of the Email account used at time of Entry. An "Authorized Account Holder" is defined as the natural person who is assigned to the Email account by the platform provider or other organization (e.g., business, educational institution, etc.) that is responsible for assigning the Email account for the domain associated with the submitted profile. A potential Prize Winner may be required to provide Maid Essentials with proof that the potential Prize Winner is the Authorized Account Holder of the e-mail address or social media account associated with the winning.

 

Use of Entrant Name, Likeness, etc. Except where prohibited by law the Prize Winner shall be required to grant Maid Essentials the perpetual and irrevocable right and license to use his/her name, photograph, visual and audio likeness, statements, biographical information, address (including city and state of residence) and any other information contained in his/her Entry, and in all forms of media now known or hereafter invented or discovered (including, without limitation, on the Maid Essentials web sites or social media pages), in perpetuity, without further compensation, notice, review or approval.

 

Not Endorsed By Facebook: By participating in this Sweepstakes, you acknowledge that this Sweepstakes is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with Facebook and release Facebook from any and all liability arising from or related to this Sweepstakes. The information you are providing for this Sweepstakes is being provided to Maid Essentials and not to Facebook and will be used to notify you if you have won.

Ownership And License: All Sweepstakes related materials, including submission Entries, Photos, and/or Statements (collectively, “Submission”) becomes the property of Maid Essentials and will not be acknowledged or returned. The copyright in any Submission shall remain the property of the Entrant, but Entry into this Sweepstakes constitutes Entrant’s irrevocable and perpetual permission and consent, without further compensation or attribution, to use, reproduce, print, publish, transmit, distribute, sell, perform, adapt, enhance, or display such Submission for any purpose, including but not limited to editorial, advertising, trade, commercial, and publicity purposes by Maid Essentials and/or others authorized by Maid Essentials, in any and all media now in existence or hereafter invented, throughout the universe, for the duration or the copyright in the Submission. Maid Essentials and/or others authorized by Maid Essentials shall have the right to edit, adapt, and modify the Submission. Miscellaneous.  The Sweepstakes and these Official Rules will be governed, construed and interpreted under the laws of the state of Texas, U.S.A. Entrants agree to be bound by the Official Rules and by the decisions of Maid Essentials, which are final and binding in all respects. Maid Essentials reserve the right to change the Official Rules at any time and for any reason, in its sole discretion and without notice, and reserves the right, for any reason, to suspend or cancel the Sweepstakes or any entrant's participation in the Sweepstakes including should viruses, bugs, unauthorized human intervention or other causes beyond Maid Essentials control affect the administration, security, fairness or proper play of the Sweepstakes, or Maid Essentials otherwise become (as determined in its sole discretion) incapable of running the Sweepstakes as planned.
